The house was build around 1875 in the Neo-classical style. It was commissioned by a Rudolstadt magnate who made his fortune in the coal mines of Mexico. Today, this magnificent property provides a fitting framework to display beautiful antiques and objects of art. The idyllic garden once belonged to the famous "Lengenfeld Gardens," where the poets Schiller and Goethe met for the first time. We know that you, too, will enjoy the special atmosphere when visiting for the preview or the auction; and we will do our utmost to make your visit a memorable experience.
